NEW FOR 2009!  FFOC Q school lets you play FFOC for only $10!

FFOC Q School offers an opportunity to play in an FFOC-formatted competition for only $10. Participants compete in leagues comprised of 10 Q School teams using the same drafting, roster, and scoring rules as the main FFOC competition, and two Q School brackets, the Q BRACKET and the POST-SEASON BRACKET.

After Week 14, the top 5 Q School teams in the Q BRACKET join the Las Vegas Bracket for Week 15 play and are eligible to become one of the top 15 teams to receive a trip to Las Vegas and compete in Week 16 for the FFOC grand prizes - including the $1 million grand prize!

OVERVIEW OF Q SCHOOL

  • The entry fee for a Q School team is $10. There is no limit to the number of Q School teams a participant may enter.

  • Q School participants compete in standard snake-draft leagues. Each league contains 10 Q School teams.

  • On-line Q School drafts begin in July and end at 4 PM CT on Thursday, September 10, 2009.

  • During the draft, each Q School team owner selects 10 starters and 10 reserves according to the same position limits as the main FFOC competition.

  • Participants play each team in their Q School league in a round robin tournament in Weeks 1 through 9 of the football season. Teams will accumulate one win or loss in each head-to-head match-up during the first nine weeks. Each team will accumulate an additional win or loss each week based on whether they finish in the top half or bottom half of the league in weekly points scored.

  • Q School and Post-Season Bracket Qualification: At the end of nine weeks, each Q School team will have 18 games attributed to its record. The top two teams in each Q School league will play in a head-to-head match-up in Week 10 to determine which team is the league winner and goes onto the Q School Bracket. The team moving onto the Q School Bracket will receive one 2010 FFOC Q School team (a $10 value). The 2nd place through 10th place teams in each league will enter the Post-Season Bracket.

  • Q School Bracket Cut Line: Each week a percentage of teams will be cut from the Q Bracket based on points scored each week. The teams cut from the Q Bracket will join the Post-Season Bracket.

  • Las Vegas Bracket Promotions and Prize Eligibility: Based on Week 14 bracket standings, the top 5 teams in the Q Bracket with the highest weekly point totals for Week 14 will be promoted to the Las Vegas Bracket in the main FFOC competition and will receive one 2010 FFOC Tier 1 team that drafts on or before Thursday, August 19, 2010 (a $75 value). These five teams will compete in the Las Vegas Bracket during Week 15, and are eligible to become one of the top 15 teams to receive a trip to Las Vegas and compete in Week 16 for the FFOC grand prizes. If, however, a Q School team is cut from the Las Vegas Bracket based on the Week 15 standings, the Q School team will join the Red Zone Bracket for Week 16 play and is eligible for Red Zone Bracket prizes.

  • Q School Bracket Prizes: After Week 16, the top 125 teams in the Q Bracket each will receive one 2010 FFOC Tier 1 team that drafts on or before Thursday, August 19, 2010 (a $75 value). The winners of each bracket will be determined by the sum of three scores:

Average points Week 1 through Week 9 + Average points Week 10 through Week 15 + Week 16 points

  • Post-Season Bracket Prizes: After Week 16, the top 125 teams in the Post-Season Bracket each will receive one 2010 FFOC Q School team (a $10 value). The winners of each bracket will be determined by the sum of three scores:

Average points Week 1 through Week 9 + Average points Week 10 through Week 15 + Week 16 points
